Valerie Igl, MFT

I have been counseling people since 1979, using a supportive and interactive style to assist in healing. With a Master's degree in Feminist Therapy, I believe societal oppression affects mental health, and see therapy as a mutual partnership. I focus on solving present-day problems, bringing in past history as needed to shed light on patterns that no longer work for you.

My specialties are abuse survivors, sexual concerns, addictions, disabilities, and sexual minorities (trans, bi, lesbian, kink, poly). I do both brief and long-term work with adults, adolescents, families, and couples. I also offer phone sessions and EMDR.
